A talk on the work of George Herbert Ponting.
HG Ponting created the official visual narrative of Scott's fateful expedition. With an archive of over 1,700 glass-plate photographs, Ponting 1870-1935, was the most celebrated photographer of his day. Gary Shaeffer will give an illustrated talk on this special artist and his exquisite images.
